First Nations owned construction and project management, backed by the trade capacity of our strategic partner network. We tell you what we self-perform, what we coordinate, and what a project will actually cost — before you sign anything.

A contractor you can price honestly

Lavalley FN Solutions manages projects on an owner's behalf and delivers them as general contractor. Our capacity is backed by our strategic partner network, which is the difference between a firm that can manage a project and a firm that can actually build it.

Most contractors describe their reach in the broadest terms available. We would rather be specific, because a partner who overstates what they hold in-house costs you more than one who is straight with you at the start. Everything below is written so you can compare our proposal against anyone else's line for line.

What we deliver

Eight service areas. Engage any one on its own, or bring us in to carry the whole project.

Project management

Holding the schedule, the budget, and the trades together on your behalf.

  • Budgets, forecasting, change orders, progress claims, holdbacks
  • Schedule development, updating, and recovery planning
  • Consultant and subtrade coordination with written weekly reporting
  • Occupancy, warranty administration, and closeout

Full delivery, from tender through to the keys in your hand.

  • Tendering, quote comparison, and value engineering
  • Full-time site supervision and daily coordination
  • Inspections, hold points, and on-site safety administration

Restoration and emergency response

When something goes wrong on your property, the clock starts immediately.

  • Site securing, board-up, and immediate mitigation
  • Water extraction, structural drying, and dehumidification
  • Fire and smoke cleaning, containment, and mould remediation
  • Full rebuild to pre-loss condition with insurance documentation

Permitting and pre-construction

The work that happens before anyone picks up a hammer.

  • Building, development, demolition, and sign permits
  • Zoning, setback, community plan, and building code review
  • Municipal, rural municipality, and band administration liaison
  • Feasibility, budgeting, tender documents, and quote review

What we self-perform, and what we coordinate

No contractor self-performs everything, and any who claims to is telling you something else that isn't true either. Here is the line, in writing, so you never discover it mid-project.

Delivered through our partner network

How we work

A repeatable process is what turns a promise into a completion date.

1

Understand the job

We walk the site, listen to what you actually need, and identify the constraints that will drive cost and schedule — before anything is priced.

2

Scope and price it honestly

A line-item quote with clear inclusions and exclusions. If something is an allowance, we label it an allowance. If we see a cheaper route to the same result, we tell you.

3

Clear the front end

Permits, engineering, code review, and long-lead orders handled up front, so crews are not standing on site waiting for paperwork.

4

Build it and report on it

Supervised crews, coordinated subtrades, a written weekly update, and documented change orders. You always know where the project stands.

5

Finish and hand it over

Deficiencies closed, systems commissioned, site cleaned, and a closeout package in your hands — as-builts, manuals, and warranties.

What you can hold us to

These are commitments, not marketing lines. You are entitled to hold us to every one of them.

We quote what we can see

And we identify what we can't. Unknowns are carried as labelled allowances rather than buried in a lump sum that moves later.

You hear bad news early

If a date is at risk or a cost is moving, you hear it while there is still time to react — not at the end.

We don't bid work we can't staff

Taking a job we cannot properly resource would cost you a schedule and cost us a relationship.

We'll say when someone else fits better

If a scope sits outside what we do well, saying so is worth more to you than winning the contract.

Nothing proceeds on a verbal

Changes are written, priced, and approved before the work happens. Never discovered on the invoice.

The punch list isn't leverage

Deficiencies get closed because it's the job, not because payment is being withheld.

First Nations owned and operated

For clients carrying Indigenous procurement targets, community benefit commitments, or set-aside requirements, engaging our firm advances those objectives directly — without trading away capability or schedule to do it.

We bring practical experience working with First Nations communities, band administrations, and on-reserve projects, including the tax, tendering, and consultation considerations that come with them. Where a project has an Indigenous employment or subcontracting component, we help build the plan rather than treat it as a box to check at the end.

Let's talk about your project

Whether it's a single building, a capital program, or a portfolio that needs a contractor who shows up and communicates — we'd welcome the conversation.

Start with a thirty-minute call and a site walk. No cost, no obligation. We'd rather see the building than price from a description of it.
